What has been your most embarrassing moment while racing?
Most embarrassing was missing my wave start at Vineman IM 70.3 because I was in the porta potty! As I was walking down to the water’s edge after doing my business. I realized that gun I had heard a few minutes ago was my wave start! As the crowd watched my startled reaction, I hurriedly pulled up my wetsuit and managed to create a large 9 tear in the suit … at the waist. It was frustrating and embarrassing to say the least.
